Summary of The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid is very beautiful.

She has one grandmother, a father, and many sisters.

When she was 15 or 16 years old, she went out of the ocean, and saw a prince.

The prince was having a party on the ship.

A storm became too heavy.

The rain became too strong and the waves broke the boat.  Then she rescued him.

The prince didn’t remember the little mermaid.

The Little Mermaid wants to go outside of the ocean, so she visited the witch. 

She got legs and the witch got her voice.

She went on land but couldn't talk.

Because she didn't have a voice she couldn't talk to the prince and couldn't say what she was thinking.

The prince married another princess.

The Little Mermaid’s sisters said to “kill him”.

If she doesn't kill the prince she will die but if she does kill him she can return to the ocean.

But the Little Mermaid loved him.

The Little Mermaid was so sad because she loved the prince.

She jumped back into the sea and died. 

She was changed into the sky and given a soul.
