A Christmas Story
Christmas is the happiest time of year because Santa Clause comes and because it is the time for remembering when God's son came to live here on earth. On Christmas my family always gets a Christmas tree and stockings. The Christmas tree goes in the living room and we hang the stockings on the door. Then we go buy cookies and milk at the mart. We always put out cookies and milk because Santa Clause gets hungry from giving the world presents!
Next we get to have one present before we go to sleep on Christmas Eve. We open it and if it is a good present we say “Thank You” but if it is a bad present we get angry! It is always hard to sleep because Christmas is very exciting! All night I have dreams where Santa Clause comes, he wears red pants, a coat, and a hat with a snowy white trim. Mrs. Claus (wearing similar clothing) brings me cookies and milk and Rudolph comes and plays with me around the North Pole.
Finally, I go to sleep and when I get up there are presents in my bed and under the tree in the living room. We open our presents quickly and play with all the new toys :D. My sister is really fast, she always opens her presents and runs to her room. I come into the bedroom too and we talk. Together we play with all our new toys, and we feel very happy :). Finally, we see that toys and presents are great things but family is what makes Christmas so exciting and joyful.
