People always worry about what they should improve on—something they are good at, and something they’re not. While some people think that people should keep trying to improve at things they do not do well, I think people should only try to improve on the things they are good at.

First of all, improving something they’re good at would specialize their skill even more. Today, people are way too good at something they don’t have to do, which makes people so plain. However, most of the superior jobs require people who are professionalized in one area. Imagine that you are interviewer of the job about music, who would you hire? The one who is spectacular at music, or who are just normal at everything?

Second of all, doing something that they are not good on is waste of time. While they try to improve things that are not good on, they are basically spending time on something useless. Spending time on something they are good at is much more productive and much faster, since you can improve something that is already strong.

To sum up, I personally think doing something that people are good at is superior to trying on things they do not do well, since people can professionalize something they are good at, and spending time on something that people are not good at is waste of time.
