2. Multi-Media Writing Festival 2017/2018
A text-only entry counts as half an entry, while a video or audio file with text is a full entry. If you have a minimum of four entries, you can give out a teacher's prize. For every 4.5 entries that a teacher submits, they may choose one winner for a teacher's prize.
Example: if you have 9 student entries in the contest, you can give out 2 teacher's prizes.
Every entry will have a fair chance to win teacher's prizes. You will see it.
It is acceptable for students to send a file with only audio or with a video that does not show their face. Students should only recite their submission on camera if they have memorized most of their text. If a student submits a video in which they are obviously reading a text, EnglishAloud may use the audio and replace the video with another image.
All students, including adults, should take part in this festival! it is a good chance to practice and to correct student's writings and pronunciation.
