Harry Potter

     Hello! My name is Eugene. I live in Geoje and I am going to talk about my favorite movie series, Harry Potter.

     The Harry Potter series is about a young boy who goes to a special school to learn about Magic. There are many reasons why I like these movies but right now I will only mention three.

     First, the characters from Harry Potter are very interesting. Harry is brave, clever, and kind. I think Harry is brave because in the movies he fights many monsters and never backs down. He always stands up to them. He is also clever because he knows many spells. Hermione is very intelligent but not as brave as Harry. Hermione is clever because she knows many spells and always reads books. Finally, Ron is scared of spiders and bad at spells but he is a good friend. He is very kind to Harry and Hermione and always goes on adventures with them.

     Also, I think the magic in the movie is fascinating. The magic is interesting because of the way it is taught in the classroom. Classes at Hogwarts are very different than classes at my school. Students are taught how to wave their wands, ride broomsticks, and cast spells. The magic they are learning is very difficult because every little detail affects the results. Every millimeter of the wand’s movement needs to be perfect and every word needs to be said correctly in order for the spell to work.

     Finally, in the movie they play an amazing sport called Quidditch. It is a competative sport that is played on flying broomsticks. I like Quiddtich because it is a very cool sport. There are many important players in Quidditch, such as seekers, who try to catch the golden snitch. If they catch the snitch, their team wins. Also, there are many other important players in the game. Quidditch players need various skills, like riding on their brooms, catching the snitch, and so on. Also, there are not many rules in Quidditch, so, at times, the game can be a little rough and hectic.

     There are many reasons why I like Harry Potter and I hope you will see the movies or read the books.
