1. A new teacher from Prince George, Canada: Victoria. She is a friend of Teacher Cait.

 

2. Teachers Party in April 2020 Topic: Talk about your hometown! Introduce your hometown. You can show pictures and short videos etc. What do you like about your hometown? What is special about your hometown? What is your favorite place? If you are living in another town, why did you leave your hometown?

 

Penguins Party: April 29th at 7:00 PM (Melanie & Lynn) 

Dolphins Party: April 29th at 8:00 PM (Phoebe & Victoria) 

Parrots Party: April 29th at 9:00 PM (Mike)

 

 

 

3. Time Extension for the Teachers Parties: If there are 6 or more students in one party, the party time will be extended to 40 minutes from 25 minutes (15 minutes more). Please join the party, the more the merrier!

4. Teacher Party Organization 

 

The parties are no longer organized by English level. Now the only important factor for party groups is age. Students are put into their groups depending on their age. Young students ages 7-9 are all in the Penguin group, ages 10-11 are in the Dolphin group, and students older than 11 are in the Parrot group. If the student is a beginner who cannot communicate well yet in English they do not get invited to any party, unless they especially ask permission from Kevin or their teacher if they can join. 

 

 

5. Students of the second generation

Kat's student: Amy Ryu (William Ryu's daughter): William took classes at our school in 2009 & 2010 (Teacher: Lindsey). His student number: 65. He had paid some extra money at our school for his own classes that he did not use, but when I called him to send the money back he chose to sign up his daughter for classes instead.
