My first child has been with EnglishAloud for 8 years, starting from 7 years old to 7th grade now. The teacher, who taught my child for the first time, is still with English Aloud, I think it’s a very reliable site.
It is hard to teach low-level students (especially during a one to one speaking class), I could see that teachers are experienced and know how to deal with those students.
English skills may not be improving dramatically in a month or two, but there are positive effects when students do classes consistently.

For somebody who speaks English as a first language and returnees, it is not easy to find good native teachers, but my child met a great teacher at EnglishAloud and is enjoying the classes.
We are so thankful to have these classes, especially during the current COVID-19 situation.
It is surprising how English Aloud found wonderful teachers. Experienced teachers are obviously different. Their teaching skills are fantastic. If I forgot my child had a class, they give us a reminder to join the class. A warm and loving family-like atmosphere has been created. My child and her teacher became close to each other. After we returned home from abroad, we started online English classes. We are lucky to have found English_Aloud out of so many online English academies. Hello. My name is Skyler. I’m having classes with teacher Phoebe.
I was 6 years old when I started the first class. I have been taking classes up to 3rd grade but I took a break for a year when I was in 2nd grade. Nowadays I feel different from the first classes, especially on the days when I write.
I love the way the teacher taught me and I hope it doesn’t change. I attended the class twice a week. One day was a speaking class (textbook), and another day was a writing class.
I am doing one page of the textbook, and I set the timer to write and wrote until that time.
While playing the game, for example, finding Hidden Objects, you can improve your English by explaining what it is and where it is.
We use a textbook to learn to speak and my speaking skills have improved a lot. Our writing is creative writing because the teacher does not decide what to write about, so it seems to be a huge benefit for children who write books in English. And my teacher helps me to check the correction. It improves my writing skills a lot.
But! All of the abilities and benefits I have mentioned can only be achieved with so much effort.
