There were two season opening Seoul Series games this week in Korea:
The first game of Major League Baseball (MLB)'s season-opening Seoul Series: The Dodgers won 5-2 on Wednesday in the very first MLB regular season game while The San Diego Padres beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 15-11 on Thursday. Korean baseball fans were really happy and excited that both games were held in Korea. There were two interesting records: The San Diego team scored 15 runs against the Dodgers for the first time. Another record is that the Dodgers lost, even though they scored 10 runs in the game.
The most popular player of the Seoul Series is of course "Ohtani Shohei." He is a historically important baseball player not only for Asia but also for the world. He is an outstanding pitcher and hitter at the same time even in the MLB. Koreans love him, and Ohtani loves Korea too.
