An interesting insect is the insect looking like leaves.

I don’t know the exact name but its appearance is perfect leaves shape.

When I was swimming in a river at 9 years old, I saw it with my eyes.

It floated on the surface of the river.

At first I thought it was just leaves but it had legs under water.

I called it as a leaves-insect.

Recently I saw a similar insect on the National Geographic enclosed below.

It called as “phyllium gianteum ” but the thing I saw was brown not green.

The National Geographic said the phyllium gianteum do not move much in the daytime so they do not have a natural enemy but at midnight bat hunt them because bat find their prey with their ears not eyes.

It is unfortunate for the insects.
