-- Official New Year Holidays in Korea (according to the lunar calendar): Feb. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. We are teaching on these days. If some students don’t attend our school these days, they will get makeup lessons. If necessary, please contact Kevin.
--Make up lessons for Feb. will happen on Sunday the 27th
--No teachers meeting Jan. 31 - Feb. 4
1) Something new:
--Each weekday Kevin will send a message telling each student there will be lesson that day 10 min. before their lesson. He will remind them to come to the computer and do something for the lesson. NOTE: Continue to send your "___is not online"/"____is not answering" message at 1 minute!!
2) Something new 2:
--If a student wants to change their teacher in the middle of the month, we would say "the teacher lost the student". If a teacher wants to change the student, then we would not think this. If you have a problem with a student, please tell Kevin immediately. If necessary, we’ll choose another teacher for the student. If Kevin can be quicker than the student then we can keep the student at the school. These early actions will help re-registration rates: we wont loose students. NOTE: Do not discuss these problems with the student or parent directly. That is not your job and may make the problem worse.
3) Official New Year Holidays:
--We teach these days, but many students won’t come and/or didn’t pay for the lessons. So we won’t have many students these days. Kevin will send you next week’s schedule on Monday.
4) Kevin is making English Aloud pages on Facebook.
--Please accept our pages as your friend, so our teachers and students can be connected on a social network. If you do not want your personal page connected to students -AND/OR- your facebook is not appropriate for the school then you are encouraged to create a new simple page.
5) Re-registration rates for this month:
--School total 87%, Carrie 100% (three months in a row), Sarah and Seth 100%, Courtney 90%, Megan 89%, Stephy 89%. Thank you very much!
