4. We will try to do the demo lessons differently during our teacher’s meetings: Kevin will film the demo lesson and edit it. The teacher will use the demo lesson at our teachers meeting. We will use the video only at the teachers’ meeting. We won’t post it onto our website. This way he student can watch the video if the student wants to do it. Don’t worry! I don’t think, we will have to always have permission from the student each time. Many online schools record each lesson with their students. It is usually accepted that the online school records lessons for educational purposes. Some students already think that our lessons are recorded. The online schools that do record each lesson have been able to do this because they had their own program like Skype. However, the online schools have problems with recording every lesson because the program that does it is very expensive and the quality of the program is worse than Skype.
5. The Kind Friends reach out for both new and old teachers at our school: Every teacher will get another teacher as a Kind Friend at our school. They will exchange contact information with each other and will help each other to work more successfully and more happily at our school. This is a new trial at our school and we would love your feedback! The Kind Friend teams are as follows: Sarah – Zandy team, Stephy – Phoebe (or Kevin) team.
