Graduation ^.^.

My friend, also one of our lab members, graduated from the Ph.d program at Seoul National University (SNU). Today, graduation ceremony was hold in the gym at 1pm. Unfortunately, I could not attend it due to my experiment, but he and I took pictures together, also with our lab members and our boss in the lab and front of our building.

He studied at SNU more than 12 years, because he got his bachelor degree here. Now, he’s got to find a new position for his future, maybe a post-doctoral training program in US or some European countries. In our field, neuroscience, generally students who have just gotten his/her doctoral degree from universities in Korea find a new position in the US or a European country. A few decades ago, most Korean students usually went to the US and Europe to get a Ph.D degree.  However, even with the change in Koreas economic state, many Korean students are still studying abroad.
