Hi Cheol,
How have you been? I've been so busy with school and studying for my final exams. I'm happy it's now summer break, even though it's still cold outside.
I'm so curious what it's like for you to live in the U.S. as an international student. It must be difficult. What is the hardest part?
Will you be excited to go back home? When will you go back to Korea?
This summer I plan on starting my own website, gardening, traveling to the West Coast maybe, and lots of relaxing! I can't wait.
How about you? Do you have any summer plans? What will you do?
Hope you are well!
Take care,
Stephy
Hi Stephy,
I’m doing fine. I’m also happy that summer break is coming. My tests were not easy, but I’m okay.
The hardest part of being an international student is communicating with American people especially my professor and classmates.
As soon as I graduate, I will go back to my country. It will probably be May of next year. I look forward to going back to South Korea, because I am Korean and it’s natural.
I’m going to take a summer course, but I have to see my advisor first. I think I’m going to take 2 or 3 courses in the summer. Then I hope after summer I only have 20 credits left to take. I’m also going to exercise and read books. I will go to Barnes and Noble to buy a children’s book, because I want to know more American culture.
Best,
Cheol
