All About Ice Cream
China made the first ice cream. China got snow from different places. It took a long time and money to get snow and store snow. Also, ice was still expensive there. Now, ice cream is not expensive. Later, China looked for faster ways to make ice cream. So we can eat it anytime in the hot summer.
Becky- Thanks for writing about the history of one of your favorite foods. Great use of sentence starters such as "also", "now", and "later", to help move your paragraph along.
One correction I would offer is in the first sentence. Since ice cream is uncountable, you don't need to write "the" in front of it. Instead you could write, "China was the first country to make ice cream".
Another correction is in the third sentence. You can use the word "long" to describe amounts of time, but not money. So you should write "it took a long time and a lot of money" or "a lot of time and money".
Other than that your paragraph is perfect! Great job!!
