1) You are the last person alive from the Burke and Wills expedition. It is September 1861, and the search party has just found you. Tell them what happened to you.
I need food. I was in the Burke and Wills expedition. All of them died. We didn't have enough food and water, and the weather was bad so we couldn't move fast. I want to go with you.
2) You are the leader of another expedition across Australia. Explain what you wil do differently.
My expedition will be different. I will prepare a lot of food. We will move more quickly. We will choose expedition people more carefully. I will choose dry weather for going on the expedition. This are the reasons my expedition will be better.
