Dear JY,

Hi JY!

Here are my edits to your letter.  This is a good letter!
There is one sentence I didn't quite understand.  It is the sentence
"In this reason, I think The Body Shop also has been conducting lots
of campaigns based on the corporate value."  Did you mean that your
values are similar to the Body Shop's corporate values?
p.s. I enjoy editing letters, so I am always happy to help you with
any editing in English :)  If you have any questions just email me
back!  Ikee

Dear Human Resource Director,

My outgoing personality, unique mix of previous activities, my status
as a Business Administration major and university courses make me an
ideal candidate for a internship with the CRM team of The Body Shop.

I have dreamed to be a global person since I took a class about
European Studies during university.  Since English fluency is
necessary to be a global person, I completed a 20-week-English course
at Hankook University of Foreign Studies in 2009.  Since then I have
concentrated on improving my English skills by listening to the EBS
radio English program every day. I have also taken a European Studies
class every semester since 2008 and was picked as a delegate to
represent my university at the EU Summer Intensive Program 2010 in
Brussels. Also, the exchange student experience at Singapore
Management University gave me a chance to meet a lot of friends from
many countries,  and instilled in me a stronger desire to become a
global person.

My dream is not only to be a global person, but to be a person who can
change the world for the better.  For this reason, I was active in a
NGO club called ‘Yonsei Leaders Club’ and I was a mentoring program
director of the NGO team in the club. I volunteered at Gayang Social
Welfare Center for a year, as a mentor of an elementary school student
from a single-parent family.  Also I participated in a program which
was ‘Starvation Experience 24 Hours’ sponsored by World Vision as a
staff in 2008 and 2009. Since this August, I have been actively
volunteering at ‘Beautiful Store’.  Although my activities impact the
world very little, I know that if people from all over the world make
small efforts such as these, it will change the world for the better.
I think The Body Shop also has been conducting campaigns based on this
corporate value.

Also, I would like to apply the knowledge and skills that I have
gained through my university business courses, especially Marketing
and Relationship Marketing, and skills I have gained through other
courses such as Design and Culture and European Studies.

I feel that the combination of my experiences, education, and
motivation to work for The Body Shop will be appropriate in the CRM
team of the company. I sincerely hope that The Body Shop grants me
this internship opportunity. Should you require more information, you
may reach me at stella_mico@hanmail.net or contact me at

Thank you for taking time to read my letter.

Best Regards
