Summer of 2010 was the first time I began skating.

It was not easy to start at age 14.

But I believed that I could do it well because I studied ballet before.

Figure skating looked a little easy for me at first.

However, it was different than I thought.

It was hard to even walk backwards.

As time went by, I made all my effort to do it well.

Eventually, at the end of summer vacation, I could do spins and easy jumps.

It was a very proud thing for a novice learner.

I learned many things in the process of figure skating.

One of the things I learned is when I have interest in something, I can do it well.

Also, there is nothing impossible.

When I knew that it was difficult to walk backwards. I thought a spin and jump would not be possible for me.

But after my hard work and perseverance, I could achieve my dream.

Nowadays, I'm still learning figure skating.

I became good enough to not wear my safety helmet.

I can do many kinds of spins and jumps.

Sometimes, I feel that I can't learn the other things, but I believe when I enjoy it and pay many efforts then they will pay off.

There would be no difference with studying and other things.

So, I think I should enjoy anything and everything.
