My Skiing Trip

Last winter, we went to a hill to go skiing. We usually go there every year. It took about 3 hours to drive there. Going to the mountain is not fun because it’s sort of annoying. You just look at the high cliffs and go skiing or snowboarding. There’s nothing else to do. There’s no internet either.   We went for two days and stayed at a hotel, and it had two stories. There were not many trees.  I saw the ski-lift, a lot of people in line, and more people skiing than snowboarding.  After I came down from the mountain I needed to drink water.  I had a cold, and I had to drink cold or hot water every 5 minutes or I would die! Also, you have to wear thick clothes that are special for skiing.


It was the first time I had snowboarded. It was not fun. Next time, I will ski instead. The ski professional was teaching me, but it was too slow. I fell down 10 or 11 times. It was very frustrating. I actually ski very well and very fast. By the end of the day, I was doing better and I could go faster. My mom and dad were skiing, but I wanted a good challenge, that's why I tried to snowboard.
