I think a recent disaster was an earthquake which occured in China. I was able to hear this news from my mother becuase she usually reads more articles than me. The earthquakes were happening in Schihuan, which is one of the cities of China, over three times. It goes without saying that all of these earthquakes were powerful enough to make people be frightened. These earthquakes caused huge damage to people and the builings.
According to the news, hundreds of people were killed and almost a thousand people got injured by these earthquakes. As a result, people lost their food to eat and are scared by the fact that there will be another earthquake soon.
