A custom in my family

My family followed the custom of eating a seaweed soup in one's birthday. We have eaten this since I was young.

My mon cook seaweed soup for every member of family including hers. I don't really like seaweed soup, but it is nice that mom cook something for us.

I am not sure if I will follow this custom but I guess I will do the same with my children someday.
