Pristine's Winter Story

My favorite season is winter. Snow like cotton candy makes my heart flutter. So, I am always waiting for the season of winter. I would like to tell you about my winter story! Shall we travel into my snowy story setting?

Every winter, I visit the North Pole. On Christmas day, I  travel to the place where Santa Clause lives. Traveling to the North Pole is always in my thinking and my mind. It is a very long, hard trip in the snow and ice. However, the North Pole is a magical place, so when I get close the snow turns into big piles of ice cream and the ice that I skate on has the smell and taste of peppermint! Friendly polar bears come to take me to Santa Clause. The baby penguins do a funny dance and sing, “Welcome to the North Pole, Pristine!”

I always go into Santa’s room quietly because he is normally asleep like my father, and making lots of noise. Santa always moves and talks a lot in his sleep before Christmas because he gets nervous about the big job he has to do. Slowly, Santa Clause wakes up with a huge yawn, and opens his eyes really big like a frog! He moves his head to the side because he is always surprised to see me.

Rudolph is my friend and brings me from place to place. Most of the time Rudolph helps Santa with the presents. But last year Rudolph was very tired so Santa Clause and I went to bring presents to children in a magical flying ice cream boat! It was hard work but we ate ice-cream sundaes the whole way, "Yum!" Whenever I go with Santa Claus, it seems like I am a little Santa Clause and I feel happy to be a part of the holiday joyfulness. Every place where Santa Clause brings me is always full of happiness and smiles from my friends.

Winter has Christmas and brings love to everyone!! Because of this I think winter is the season of hopes and dreams. I hope that everyone stays warm with their hopes and dreams in the long cold winter.

Happy New Year!
