Teacher Manual
Teachers may suffer a pay cut more than one month, if they do not follow the rules. The teacher will get only the basic rate (without the bonus rates and prime teacher's rate). The remaining teachers will split the portion left behind.
1. Teachers should give Kevin 2 teaching weeks notice before any scheduled vacation!
2. New teachers should teach min. 6 months in a row from the first class.
3. After 3 or more days scheduled vacation, teachers should work minimum 3 months in a row after the vacation.
4. In the case of teachers not coming to school on time without any notices or any warnings, the teacher should contact Kevin in 22 hours from that time through email or phone, otherwise Kevin would find a replacement. If the teacher comes back later, the teacher may not have any students more. So the teacher should start with one new student again.
5. New teachers should be living in the USA, the UK or Canada. But established teachers (the teachers that have taught at our school longer than 6 months successfully), can teach in one of the countries listed:

Finland, France,
Germany, Greece,
Holland, HongKong, Hungary,
Irelnad, Israel, Italy,
Japan,

Countries may be added. Regardless of the country, cable connection is strongly recommended: no Wifi.
Minimum download speed: 2 Mbps; Upload speed: 0.512 Mbps.
Teachers should test the connection with Kevin, before teaching from the location.
6. Teachers should have 3 hours availability Monday through Friday between our working hours (Korean Time: 6PM-12AM). If a teacher cannot be available for 3 hours, the teacher cannot teach at our school.
7. If parents complain about a teacher, insisting that the teacher is doing something else in class, we will first let other teachers know about it on the board: time.aloud.kr. In addition, the teacher won't share the bonus rate (17% of the school fee(netto) that month). This can result in a 20 -25% lower paycheck. The other teachers will get more of the bonus rate that month.
Please don't send messages to others in class. If you send a message to Kevin then just send one short word like: yes, no, Ok, bye. If Kevin sends you a message on Skype, you don't need to answer immediately if you have a class. Please be careful, sometimes teachers do something else in class unconsciously if the class is boring: reading other books, sending messages to someone else, or downloading files on the Internet. It would be better "doing nothing in class" than "doing something else in class".
8. The following actions will result in a 15% reduction in the shared Teacher's bonus rate.
8.1. Absence from the weekly Teacher's Meeting, 15% for every missed meeting.
8.2. Absence from the monthly Teacher's Party.
8.3. Not completing the Student Cards will result in a 15% loss.
8.4. Not completing Evaluation sheets on time: Total 45% for three months (15% a month).
8.5. Other obligations that may arise.
9. Every rule has an exception, please ask Kevin, if you have any questions.
