Last summer I went to Thailand with my family on Asiana airlines. When I arrived in the airport in Korea I was so excited. It was a 6 hour plane ride from Seoul to Phuket. We watched a movie and ate food on the plane. In fact, I enjoyed riding on the plane so much I wanted to get back on when we landed in Phuket.

We took a taxi that looked very strange, I was surprised when the driver got in the passenger's side but then I saw the whole steering wheel was on a different side of the car! We drove to Club Med Phuket, the hotel was nice but there were many insects in my room. I wasn’t sure what to do, because it was night in Thailand and I had already slept on the plane. Finally, the morning came. Soon I was in the middle of a big Thai adventure. Club Med had many awesome activities such as golf, archery, snorkeling, and even bungee jumping! We took a boat out to the middle of the ocean. I was a little afraid but I jumped in and soon I saw much wonderful fish. I spotted a clown fish that looked just like Nemo and I wanted to take it home with me but when I touched the fish it made me a little itchy.

One day at lunch I tried a new kind of Thai fruit: Durian. It was a beautiful yellow color but it had a strong-bad smell similar to cheese. I took a bite and it made me feel very bad. I spit it out, but I will never forget that taste as long as I live! We also tried bungee jumping. Usually, I have a fear of heights, but I was not very scared as we got ready to jump. We put on a special suit and went to the side of the bridge. I jumped! It was a scary but exciting experience that I will never forget.

Another day I had fun at the pool. I swam all day and then when it got dark I kept on swimming. It was different to swim at night, a little cool but also exciting. The pool was filled with lights but the sky was a deep dark black, like strong coffee.

Finally, the trip was over and I was very sad to leave beautiful Thailand. However, I was excited to give my friends the gifts I bought them. We got on the plane late at night and I fell into a deep sleep. When I woke I was in my home; wonderful Korea!
