First of all one advantage for me, is that it is good to grow plants in the yard.  If you grow plants in the yard, they have less opportunity to experience photosynthesis like they would in a green field.  Living in an apartment doesn't give you an opportunity to take care of plants all the time.  Next, when living in an apartment, people make a lot of noise in between the different floors.  For example, if kids are making noise downstairs, I will be angry, and I will complain to my neighbors.  If it is too loud, the neighbors might call the police.  It is better not to live in an apartment in order to avoid this type of confrontation.  Finally, I love pets.  It is probably better to have pets at a house rather than at an apartment.  If you have a residence, then you can take the pet outside to play in the yard.  I wish I could turn back time and live in a residence.
