Hello. I’m Tony. I want to talk about my winter story on Jeju Island.

Last winter I went to Jeju Island with my family. It was my second visit, and Jeju is my favorite place in Korea. Jeju is located in the south of the country, so although it was winter, the weather was not as cold as in Seoul and it was nice. Jeju is famous for a lot of stones, strong women, and a lot of wind. On Jeju, there are many black stones with many holes. Jeju women have been good at diving in the ocean, catching seafood, and providing for their families for a very long time. They are called ‘Haenyu’ (female diver) in Korean.

On the first day, I got to have the experience of being a dolphin keeper. I touched a dolphin and gave it some fish for food. I kissed the dolphin. I felt like I was talking with the dolphins. It was great fun for me to become a dolphin keeper.

And then I rode the Eco-train in Ecoland. Ecoland is a newly built amusement park on the mountain, and it was beautiful. The train in Ecoland has 6 colors: orange, red, blue, green, yellow and black. I took turns riding every train.

On the second day, I rode a horse in the hills. The horse was big and brown. I rode as if I were a cowboy. We picked many tangerines in the field, they were very delicious. I also built a sandcastle on the beach. I wondered which countries were on the horizon of the sea.

I love Jeju because it is the most beautiful place in the world. I’m very proud of it.
