Teachers' Meeting Aug. 22nd

Host: Melanie

0. Small Talk:

1. No school: September 8th (Monday) & 9th (Tuesday): Korean Thanksgiving Days

2. Students with low-level English may need extra help outside of class from their parents who speak both English and Korean. Some parents may be too busy or don't speak English at all. Please discuss this with your students and determine if they need additional support. All Compass Media Books have Korean translations that can be downloaded for extra help from our website. Students who are registered on the website can also access these files. Please send these versions to the students or ask Kevin to send them.

3. Don't forget to encourage your students to sign up for BAND. Kevin can send an invitation to your students if you send him your students cell phone number or their email addresses (If the student doesn't have any smart phones). Also, encourage your students to post fun pictures, stories and other interesting topics.  These can be great tools for classes. For example, students can post a picture and then in class you can work on a related story or comment to be posted later.

4. Watching Melanie's class video (the second half)
