My First Skiing Experience
Last winter, I went skiing at Geasan Forest with my father and his friend. My mom stayed home because she didn’t want to get hurt. My dad’s friend is very good at skiing. It was my first time, so he taught me on the easy run. While he was teaching me he crashed into a woman who was sitting in the middle of the ski run. The accident was so bad that they had to go to the head office where they had an argument. The woman said the accident was painful but she was okay. It was her fault because of where she was sitting. My father’s friend was not hurt so it was okay. I hoped there wouldn’t be another accident like this.
We took a break and went to the cafeteria to eat lunch. My father's friend ate his lunch quickly and went to the hardest ski run. I watched him ski. He was very fast and didn’t fall. I wished I could ski like him when I get older.
Afterwards, I wanted to try and be like him so I went to the medium run, but it was so hard and a lot steeper than the beginners' run. I was scared. So I went back to the beginners' run. I skied very well. I even skied down to the shop without any help. I was very happy. We left because it was late and the mountain was closing. We arrived home and my mother said I looked very happy. Next time I wish she would come with us.
