Treasure Island

Treasure Island is one of the best books I have ever read. It is my favorite book because it is about an amazing adventure with lots of characters with different personalities. The author of the book is Robert Louis Stevenson. I really like how the author is able to change the situation in the story to make me want to keep reading to know what happens next. The story is told in first-person, so that I feel like I am going on the adventure with the main character, Jim.

The main character, Jim, finds a treasure map in the inn keeper’s room after the inn keeper dies. He goes to find help after he finds the inn keeper, and he meets a doctor and captain who knew the inn keeper. He shows them the treasure map, and they decide to go on a dangerous adventure to find the treasure. However, they need more help to go on the adventure, so the captain borrows a ship from a friend and hires some crew to help them sail the ship.

After they start the voyage, they find out that most of the crew are pirates! Their leader’s name is Long John Sliver. They hear that Jim and other people want to find the treasure, and they join this adventure. Jim, the doctor, the captain, and another crew member run to the forest as soon as they reach the land. Then the pirates take over the ship and search for the treasure, but the map is with Jim and his friends. At last, Jim and his friends win the fight and get all the treasure. They all go back home safely.

Treasure Island is an interesting book. Although it is quite long, I think it is good to try to read. You can be anything you want in this story! The author describes the characters so well, that the readers feel very close to them. You can imagine yourself as any of them! I would recommend Treasure Island to anyone who loves adventures.
