There were people named Marilla and Mathew. They were brother and sister. They decided to get a boy to make him work. But Mathew went out and got a girl. Her name was Anne. But Anne was very cute, so they decided to keep her.

Anne didn’t like that she wasn’t pretty. She had red hair. But she had a girl-friend named Diana. And she had a great time with Diana. She also met Diana at school.
 

But one day, Anne gave a wine to Diana accidently! Then, Mrs. Barrie (Diana’s mom) became really mad and didn’t allow Anne to meet Diana. So Anne decided to return to school to meet Diana again.
 

One day at school, Anne met a rival named Gilbert. He was naughty to Anne. For instance, he grabbed and pulled Anne’s hair. So Anne started to hate him. So she thought she would revenge to Gilbert. So she punched him with a slate. And teacher saw when she punched Gilbert, so Anne was punished. Anne started to hate Gilbert more.
 

One day, Diana’s sister was sick. But Anne cured Diana’s sister. After then, Mrs. Barrie apologized to Anne. So then, Diana and Anne became best friend again.
 

After a few days, Anne and Diana were doing a play beside a lake. And Anne was riding the boat because to put on a play. And water started to come in, but Gilbert rescued her. But still, Anne hated him.
 

But one day, Anne went to the college. She met Gilbert there. She and Gilbert graduated the college. Their dream was to become teachers. Anne had to go to a school near her house. But Gilbert decided to go to there first. So Anne had to go to other school, but Gilbert yielded his school for Anne. Anne said thank you to Gilbert, and they became great friends.
