Hello Everyone, my name is Sarah Yoon, and this is my story about the smart-robot Doraemon.
One day, JinGoo was very surprised because he saw a new cell-phone ad. His eyes became big and round in excitement, and he said, “Wow!” Then, one more time he was surprised, this time by the arrival of smart-robot Doraemon. JinGoo was so confused because he had heard on the TV that scientists were trying to make a smart-robot like Doraemon, but they had not succeeded yet. So, JinGoo knew that Doraemon was from the future.
Doraemon asked “Do you like that cell-phone?”
JinGoo said “Yes, I want it VERY much.”
Then JinGoo asked, “Can you make a game-phone, a new product that is half smart-phone and half Nintendo?”
Doraemon said “Yes, I can!”
JinGoo said, “Please make a game-phone Doraemon, PLEASE!”
“Oh, OK” said Doraemon.
“Thank you very much!” said JinGoo.
“You’re welcome,” replied Doraemon.
Then JinGoo asked one more thing, “Can you make a time machine?”
Doraemon said “Yes, I can, I have a time machine now!”
Doraemon gave JinGoo some mini candy that looked a little like tic-tacs. JinGoo asked “Why did you give these tic-tacs to me? I want a time machine.”
Doraemon told JinGoo, “These are time machines, I call them ‘Mini-Candy Time Machines.’ First, you eat the candy, then you say, for example, ‘I want to go to my Birthday’ and you go to that time and place.”
JinGoo said “Reaaaally??”
And Doraemon said “Yes, really!”
JinGoo said, “I want to go to my wedding in the future. I really like this one girl in my school, and I want to see if she is my future wife.”
Doraemon said, “OK—just eat the candy and say ‘I want to go to my wedding place,’ while holding my hand. Then, I can come with you!”
They went there, but JinGoo’s wife was not the girl from school. Unluckily, JinGoo’s future wife was Doraemon’s past girlfriend!
JinGoo and Doraemon looked at each other and threw their hands up in the air; “What happened!?!?!” they yelled at the same time.
Suddenly, JinGoo woke up.
It was all a dream.
