Title: Adventure in the USA

Hello my name is Joseph Shin and I'm a sixth grader in Boramae elementary school in Seoul.

Last summer I went to the USA. I visited a state called South Carolina. I stayed in a small town. It was a neat place, which was small and quiet. There were many houses, but not many other things nearby, and the closest market was about 20 minutes away. However, I really enjoyed South Carolina because I went to a Summer Safari camp there. There were many activities and things to do there. On the playground, we played Capture the Flag. You have to get your opponent's flag and should get back to your team's flag without getting caught. It's a very fun game but after playing that game, I was too tired to walk. We played kickball too. It's like baseball, except you kick the ball instead of hitting it with a bat. We also went on some field trips. One trip was to an ice-rink, to go skating. 

One of my favorite days was my birthday, when my aunt, uncle, and brother took me to an amusement park in North Carolina. My favorite ride was a log ride. In this ride, you ride in a boat which goes very fast down a big hill. I had a great time, and I hope to go there again someday. It was nice to spend time with my aunt, uncle and brother and it was a great, long, relaxing vacation.
