TV series - The Wire :: this is a great tv series set in Balitmore, MD. It's a police story focusing on various criminal issues in the city. The language used is colloquial and quite fast spoken, I imagine it will be difficult to begin with but would help tune your ear! You can download it or buy some of the series on DVD. I got a copy via kat.ph and downloaded into Vuze (a software program on my desktop).
