Last winter, I went sledding with my family. It was fun. I wanted to try it one more time this winter. There were a lot of people around watching our sled. So I did it just a few times. Next, I went ice skating. I was embarrassed when I slipped while ice skating. But I tried again and this time I didn't slip. I felt great. I went to the cafe to drink hot chocolate. I also ate some pancakes, too. The pancakes were delicious!

I went to the snow castle to play. I built a snowman there. While I was at the snow castle, I saw my best friend, Sally. We tried sledding down the ice. Then, we went to my house and talked about the adventure. I wish we could go there again!

The next day, it was sunny. I went to Julia's house. She is my neighborhood friend. We ate ice cream together. It was a little bit cold. But it was sweet. Next, we went to the playground together. We played ping pong. At first, I lost three times in a row. I was sad. Julia gave me candy and said, “Don't worry, I will teach you how to play better.” She said, “Come with me.”

“O.K.,” I said. Then I won ten times. I was very happy.

Then at noon, we played ice hockey. It was a little bit difficult, but I did great. We played six times. I won four times and Julia two times. After I won, I laughed at her, and then, Julia started to cry. I said, “Sorry.” And Julia said, “O.K.” Finally, we went to a restaurant with my mom. We ate pizza and spaghetti. I tried to eat a second slice and coughed because the pizza was a little spicy. Then I tried spaghetti. It was yummier than the pizza. I ate two bowls of it. It was a great day!
