A Magic Summer Story

My brother and I were playing at the beach in Jeju Island. We were swim racing and we crossed the finish line, which was some rocks. I found a ring between two rocks. We were very surprised to find the ring there.  It was gold with a shiny ruby stone.

We took the ring home. It was in my pocket. At dinner, I was thinking, 'This food doesn't taste delicious.' We were eating snails. Suddenly, the snails changed to steak! I tasted the food, and it tasted good. The ring was magic. But my parents didn't know I had a magic ring because only I could see it.

The ring had another power. It could change into games, and turn into balls that we could play with.

But there were some problems. The ring lost its power when I used its magic. So I thought about how to recharge the ring's power. But it was too hard, I couldn’t do it alone. So I told my brother about the ring, and we searched for a way to charge it.

My brother wanted to try to use the ring to make a wish. "I want to wish for a new car," he said.

“No, when you wish for something with the magic, the ring will lose power," I said. He reached for the ring, and we started fighting for it. I ran to the elevator with the ring. I had to escape! My brother followed me and took the same elevator as me.

My brother said, 'Please let me use the ring.'

I said, 'OK, just this time.'

We got off the elevator and went outside. My brother thought in his head, 'I wish we could find the rock that could charge the ring.' Five minutes later, we found the rock. It was in my brother's pocket the whole time!

We charged the ring, and I told my brother he could wish for one more thing. He wished for rare Yu-Gi-Oh cards so he would be the best player in the world. I was thinking the ring should go back to where we found it at beach, but deep under the sand where no one could find it again. After the ring was gone, I hurried to finish my summer vacation and have fun.
