The clicks for a participant: Clicks on the festival board of our website (http://wf.aloud.kr) + clicks on YouTube + clicks on "LIKE button" on our website and YouTube.
- Most viewed video Prize (for non-winners): Award: Won 60,000.-
- Teacher's Prize
Award: Won 50,000.- (The teachers donate 10 dollars for the prize)
Our students don't need to worry, there are no judges. Teachers will choose the best submissions to win prizes. It is a secret though who has chosen whom. We just say to our students that our teachers chose the winner.
A text-only entry counts as half an entry, while a video or audio file with text is a full entry.
If you have a minimum of four entries, you can give out a teacher's prize. For every 4 entries that a teacher submits, they may choose one winner for a teacher's prize.
Example: if you have 8 student entries in the contest, you can give out 2 teacher's prizes.
A teacher who have four entries or more for this season, the teacher will get a basic 3 points for board & band evaluation for Teacher's wage sheet.
It is acceptable for students to send a file with only audio or with a video that does not show their face. Students should only recite their submission on camera if they have memorized most of their text. If a student submits a video in which they are obviously reading a text, EnglishAloud may use the audio and replace the video with another image.
