Hi Lindsey.
Attached are two materials. First one, the excel file, contains a list made up of bunch of English words with Korean description for each word, which you may not understand. Those are the words that I want to learn. I gathered the word list, and I typed in the Korean description refering an English-Korean dictionary. The trouble is that it is really boring for me to study one by one, so I want you to help me by suggesting your own vivid definition and sample sentence for each word for me to memorize easily. Also, I want you to highlight words that you don't think used frequently in States nowadays, or not so important for an advanced foreign students. And please post it up on this board for me to check and cross out from my list.
The second one contains English idioms and definitions written in English.
I suggest you to cover 30 words and 1 page of idioms for each class, after that we may have some time for free talking.
I'm looking forward to meeting you on Wednesday.
Regards,
Herbert
Hi Herbert!
Here I have attached the lists so far, as you know we have only made a small dent in them but I wanted to give you and updated list!
