Good morning, I am            from Gacheon elementary school.

I was born in Seongju and live gacheon.

So I love my country very much. All friends from other countries don’t know Seongju well. I hope many people can be interested about Seongju after listening to my speech.

 Now I will introduce Seongju to you.

Seongju included in North of Gyeongsang and consists of 1 eup and 9 myeon. Most of all, we are famous for yellow melon. Especially in seonju, yellow melon is sweet and it tastes the best.

Now days, there are popular yellow melon ice cream and yellow melon juice, too. Many people in seongju  cultivate yellow melon on their farms.

Don’t be surprised! Korea’s yellow melon production is 70 % from seongju. When you visit seongju in the summer, you will be ina yellow melon heaven in seongju. If you visit seongju, you can eat yellow melon a lot. Please visit us a lot!

Second, I want to introduce sungbak forest which is a famous place in seongju. It is a park in seongju eup. It holds many festivasl and is a resting place normally. It is famous for beautiful old trees. It was introduced in the drama “next door’s enemy.”

Third, Gaya mountain is where the most beautiful mountain is in Korea. I already climbed gaya mountain when I was 5. It was a little bit sharp but when I arrived at the top, I felt fresh and good. It is especially beautiful in the fall with  maple colors, your mouth will be open with exclamation. Near gaya mountain, there is a wild flowers green house, haein temple, and pocheon valley.

Forth, There are reserved King Sejong’s princes 태실 in seongju welhang myeon sunsuk mountain. Except monjoung who was King Sejong eldest son in 18 princes, 17prices’s 태실 is stayed. King Sejong is famous for create Hangul. It is designated important cultural assets in Korea no 444.

Last, Middle in land high way pass seongju. For sometime, Seongju was uncomfortable to transport so that we had to go Gumi or Kimcheon near Seongju. But now highway opens, seongju transportation is comfortable than before. If trainrailroad will make, seong ju transportation will better than now.

Sometimes, I envy friends who live in Daegu. Because, there are many places to play for children. But, When I smell sweet yellow melon, I proud what I live in my country, seongju. Now, I will try hard to develop my country seong ju better, Thank you for listening my speech.대회.docx
