Jenny's New Year
My favorite part of the New Year is getting money. Nowadays, my grandparents, aunt and uncle give me 50,000 won so that's a big change from before. Before, they gave me 10,000 won. Before I get money, I have to bow to them. They gave words of blessings to us (me, my brother and cousins). The words of blessings are usually “grow healthy” and “study hard” and “mind your parents.” So everytime they said that, I thought they just said it like a robot.
