My Summer Vacation

 Last summer I went to Jeju Island with my family. It was very hot, because it is a tropical Island. I went to the beach first, because I looked forward to swimming for a long time. We swam and rode a mini boat that we brought from Seoul. It was fun to play in the water with it. After that we ate a sweet watermelon. It tasted like honey and a candy mixed together. It was so delicious that we ate and ate until we had a stomachache. The next day, we went to the car museum.  I drove a mini car by myself and received a driving license card. I felt as I was driving a real car. Then, I went to the toy shop. My parents bought me a little car for a present. I was so happy. The next day we went to a African museum. I learned what they eat, what they wear, and how they dance. It was very strange, but interesting. These are the activities I did with my family in Jeju Island. If you go to Jeju Island and visit the places I went to, you will be very surprised. Maybe you will not close your mouth! I want to enjoy my summer vacation in Jeju Island again!

 My Winter Vacation

 I like winter vacation the best, because I have a lot of things to do. Last winter my brother and I played in the snow and ate tangerines that my grandmother grew. Last winter it snowed a lot in Korea, so I enjoyed the snow by having a snow fight, making a snow man, and sledding. They were very exciting and fun. It made me keep playing until night. It was very hard to make a snowman . The snowman' s head kept falling down, so we had to keep making the snowman's head carefully. We made it so slowly and carefully that we looked like a snail. Because of the carefulness we finally finished making the snowman. Even though we were tired we were happy that we made it. Our grandmother had some tangerine trees in her garden and sent tangerines to us. It was sweet like honey. It tasted like rainbow colors. My family and I ate them thankfully and talked about the tangerines taste. Winter vacation is coming again. I expect I will have a more exciting vacation this year.
