2. No
lessons on December 23rd, Friday. Makeup lessons on the 30th,
December. Teachers’ Party: On December 29th.
3. Every
year in December we have a contest for students. The deadline this year for
Writing Contest: On the 22nd, December. Students should submit a
written speech with or without a video on the topic: My summer story or my
winter story. Students work together with our teachers during
their lessons to work on their entries. The teacher can help the students
with pronunciation and grammar, and the students can practice their
presentations. Minimum 150 words. Maximum 400 words.
4. Joining
this contest is an obligation. All students should submit their writing.
5. There are
six judges doing the evaluation. The judging is very fair: the highest and
lowest scores are thrown out, with four scores remaining for each student.
6. We choose
six judges from the prime teachers’ ranking at our school: .Megan, Phoebe,
Stephy, Carrie, Ikee. We need minimum one male teacher so we chose David as a
judge, according to the ranking, too.

7. We will watch the Halloween Teachers’ Party videos of Megan and Phoebe today. Thanks a lot for wonderful Halloween costumes to Megan, Phoebe, Justin and Stephy. You made our Halloween teachers parties colorful and wonderful.
