Last winter my family was staying in North Carolina in the United States. We went skiing at a place called Black Mountain. It took about an hour to get there from where we stayed. I went skiing with a group of people including my family and my friends.

It was my first time skiing, but it was not hard to learn to ski. Going fast down the mountain was really cool and a lot of fun! It was very cold outside, but I wore a special outfit to stay warm: gloves, a hat, a thick winter coat, and ski pants.

I went skiing on the mountain with my older sister and my friends. After skiing, I had hot chocolate. It was very yummy!

My mother and father had a hard time skiing and didn't like it much. So, unfortunately, we just stayed there for one day. I have only been skiing once. If I could, I would go skiing again in America. It would be a lot of fun!
