Last summer I went to English camp. The camp was five days long, and the focus was on movies.
On the last day, we broke up five teams to create and act out five different skits. We performed the skits in front of everybody in the camp. There was a jury who judged us who picked a person who did well. My team's skit was about the treasure in the ocean. The story was about three men travelling in the ocean. I played the coward in that skit. And there was a troublemaker, a pirate, and a curious man. In the beginning, the coward, the troublemaker, and the curious man were in the ship. The coward showed them his hand with many rings and said, "Look at this, isn't it beautiful? These are the lucky rings! Now I'm safe!" And then the troublemaker teased him, and stole the coward's lucky ring. Unfortunately, the ring was dropped in the ocean and the coward became frustrated.
Then the curious man said, "Don't be a sad coward. I will bring the ring." And he jumped into the ocean. The troublemaker felt sorry for what he had done, so he went with the curious man. The coward, the man who I acted as, was afraid of water so he just stayed in the ship. In the ocean, the curious man found something strange. It was a treasure chest. Then he brought it to the ship with the troublemaker. They tried to open the chest, but the coward told them not to open it because he thought there was something strange in the treasure chest. At that time, the pirate appeared. He said the treasure chest is his thing. The curious man didn't believe it so they fought. They played rock/scissor/paper. While they were fighting, the troublemaker opened the treasure chest, and in the treasure chest, there was something strange. It was Pororo. But they didn't recognize Pororo, so they thought he was the king of the world. Finally, they held Pororo and said "Let's worship it! This is the king of the world!"
It was hard for me to act as a coward, because in my normal life, I'm very brave. But I think it's okay to live like a coward. The coward didn't do anything in the skit. He just sat down and was scared of everything. It was a memorable camp for me.
