A story of 2011

This month is December. Every December we have many ceremonies for closing the year well.

I had many ceremonies this week (December12).

On Monday there was a ceremony for my colleague who received his PhD degree.

Actually, he already had a PhD degree in Engineering.

He already had a doctorate in Engineering.

This time his new PhD degree is in Dentistry, so many people have been expecting him to fuse the two fields.

We will wait to see in the future if he does this.

This year I also finished my research dissertation. It feels wonderful to be finished. My friends and family are proud of me. But they want me to find a husband. In Korea, matching making websites and blind dates are very popular. I actually, set 3 friends up with dates. One couple is married. Another couple is dating still. And the third couple split up. Two for one: so far, so good.
