I remember Christmas last winter. While I was sleeping, Santa Clause gave me a present. The next morning there was a tiny present. I thought I needed to do some nice things. When I went out, it was snowing! Yahoo! I was excited. All of the children were outside, too. Some kids were sledding or making a snow man. Some kids were digging in the snow or doing snowball fighting. I played and made a snowman with my mom and dad. I made a baby snowman. It was tiny. That was very cute. My mom made a mommy snowman, and my dad made a daddy snowman. But making an enormous snowman was not easy. The big snowman broke lots of times while I made it. When I made the baby snowman, it broke lots of times, too. So my mom and dad helped a little bit. Then I went sledding. My sled was orange and it was big. When I was riding the sled… oh, my, my! My sled crashed on a rock, boom! It was very noisy. I covered my ears with my hands. I was not hurt. Woo, that was close. I laughed, but my mom and dad were surprised, and then they laughed. I think there are a lot of interesting ways to play in winter. Oh! What an exciting winter day!
