Jinny's Trip to an Alien Planet: A Summer Story 

Usually in the summer I just like to sleep all day and all night. When I wake up, I go to music class, practice my English at English Aloud, and relax with my family. But last summer something very strange happened....
 
I was visiting Jeju Island with my family. We climbed Hanla Mountain and when we got to the top of the mountain, I saw a strange purple triangle about 1 km on each side. It was a UFO!

From the UFO, a weird, very tall (about 2 meters), very purple man came out. It was an alien! The alien's eyes were so big and almond-shaped that they reminded me of American footballs. Its face had no nose and a very small mouth. I was confused because I had never seen an Alien before.
 
He said, “Bla Blaaa Bla Blaa Bla," in a strange alien language.
 
I said, “Oh sorry, I can’t speak your language,” in English.
 
He answered, “Oh OK, I can speak English too.”
 
I asked him, “Your UFO looks like a nacho chip. What does it taste like?"
 
He answered, “Oh, on your planet it tastes like a grape.”
 
"Oh. Nice. Can I eat a piece of your UFO?"
 
"Sure you can!"
 
"Umm… It's nice! It really does taste like a grape!! Hmm… What’s this button, it’s brown. Does it taste like chocolate?" I pressed the button and…
 
“DON’T Touch that!" shouted the alien.
 
But it was too late. The UFO flew into outer space at light-speed!
 
“Oh my god…Wow!!!!! Are we going into space?”
 “We’re going to my planet!”
 
The planet was purple and surrounded by two layers of glass that opened and closed to let in alien spaceships. 60% of the planet was a capital city. The city was all purple skyscrapers. Inside the buildings, there were many creepy aliens. Some aliens looked very different from my purple friend. They looked like violet Minecraft monsters! There were also things that looked like humans, but they were all made of a clear purple jelly.
 
I went to an alien restaurant and I ate a dish of blue jelly, it tasted like blueberry! I learned about alien technology and I taught them how to grow Earth plants. But after one week I wanted to go home because I was homesick.
 
“It’s time to go back to my home!” I cried. And the aliens let me go. This time I rode in a blue UFO. I stuck to the seat when it started to move faster than light. It was a tough ride, because the speed and heat created were so great! Finally, I was back on my planet: Earth. I opened my eyes and I was in my bed. I thought, "Was that just a dream?" Then I saw blue stains that smelled like blueberry all over the back of my clothes!
