The woman wants a child.

So, she went to an old woman.

The old woman gave her a seed.

The woman planted the seed, and at last a flower grew.

In the flower there's a little girl.

She calls the girl Thumbelina.

The woman makes a bed for Thumbelina.

But one night a toad comes, and she carries Tumbelina away.

Thumbelina doesn't want to marry the toad's son.

Thumbelina begins to cry.

The fish in the pond help Thumbelina.

She floats away.

But then a maybug sees her, and he wants to marry Thumbelina.

He carries her up to a tree.

But other maybugs laugh at him because Thumbelina has two legs.

So, the maybug doesn't want Thumbelina now.

Then winter comes.

She is cold and hungry.

A mouse helps Tumbelina.

One day a mole visits them.

The mole wants to marry Thumbelina.

Thumbelina sees a bird who looks dead.

But the bird is not dead.  Thumbelina makes a blanket for the bird.

The bird says thank you.

Thumbelina gets onto the bird's back and they fly away.

She sees is a little prince in a flower.

Thumbelina and the prine get married.
