ABOUT ME
I recently graduated with my Master’s degree specializing in modern American literature, but I have also studied literature from different time periods all over the world. Since my undergraduate and graduate degrees are in English, I also have a thorough understanding of the English language and its mechanics. During my time as a writing tutor, ESL tutor, and teacher, I have gained experience teaching the intricacies of the English language in a fun and easily accessible way.
I try to find creative avenues into learning to make our lessons fun, and to have my students interact with the material on a personal level so that they feel connected to what they are learning. I am a true lover of all things art! I am the author of eighteen literary novels, I write and illustrate children’s books, I edit and publish a literary magazine, and I love to read and discuss books of all kinds!
I also like to make up my own yoga moves, to eat ice cream, and to play the ukulele by the lake and scare all of the
fish away!
