Main responsibilities
My role within the Scottish Property Centre was to design and implement their current marketing materials as and when required by estate agents. This fast paced environment required an acute attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines, sometimes with many last minute changes. In my short time there I have successfully delivered staff training enabling estate agents to assist and collaborate with the creative aesthetic of their marketing materials to achieve maximum advertising potential. As mentioned above, this contract is freelance, and as such I have the benefit of being able to alter my workload in order to prioritise other career opportunities as and when required.


Support Worker

Main responsibilities
Providing individual care for adults who have some physical or mental dependency. I have worked with one client on a long-term basis that I have developed an excellent relationship with both professionally and personally. I also provide key feedback about my client, whilst monitoring his progress to both the company and family so that his needs are consistently met to the highest of standards.
This position relied on a focused and reliable attitude with a large element of trust with both the client and his family. I successfully managed a difficult programme of consistency and empowerment with my client, who now lives a more independent lifestyle due to his positive attitude to this change.


Private drum tutor

Main responsibilities
Provided quality instruction to students in contemporary and poplar drumming styles swell as traditional percussion. Ensuring to be understanding & friendly with students of all ages, levels and groups. I Managed to maintain a small practice and recording studio in Glasgow, also used to record two commercial albums with band - Woodenbox.
I developed lesson plans for each student around their short/long term goals, as well as trying to give a better understanding of both the history and cultures surrounding drumming and percussion worldwide. Journals completed for the students after each lesson and monitored progress whilst giving effective feedback to both parents and students themselves in timely reviews. I also maintained a current calendar with a minimum of 10 hours of availability using SuperSaaS online appointment scheduling software.


Visitor Services Presenter
Deep Sea World, Fothside Terrace, North Queensferry. Fife. KY11 1JR
From March 2006 – June 2008


Main responsibilities
A demanding position in a national attraction that dealt with a huge footfall every day and had a large range of exhibitions to suit a variety of ages and group sizes. I spent much of my time touring with school groups, showcasing exhibits on display including interactive touch tanks.
I also presented educational lectures to schools and private adult groups in both content and the use of interactive visual aids and slides.


Student Course Representative

Main responsibilities
My position was to be the voice of students studying on my course and to take active engagement with decision making. I also liaised with my Course Directors and Tutors on a regular basis representing my peer’s opinions and interests and address issues that affected the quality of the educational experience throughout the course by attending various meetings and activities. Finally I provided feedback information to the Students’ Union, various committees, and University staff as appropriate. This was an unpaid voluntary position within the college campus.

Main responsibilities
I gained superior knowledge through duties in Sound engineering, floor management, tape logging, VT & camera operations in both live and off-air situations. This high pressure environment demanded excellent organization skills and the utmost professionalism at all times.
