"The eyes are the windows of the mind."
One day, young Ki-ro heard a proverb, "The eyes are the windows of the mind.", from his grandmother.
Since that time, young Ki-ro has always wondered why the eyes are the windows of the mind. He didn't realize this consciously, but he did realize that there was something existing unconsciously. Now Ki-ro is grown up enough and he is capable to think about it in various ways.
I am young Ki-ro, and here are some of my thoughts.
Usually, we depend on the eyes (except for the blind). Technically, the blind also depend on eyes, but it is indirectly such as a guide dog or volunteer. For such a reason, eyes are the most important body part in our life. Eyes comprise a large portion of shaping our memory because they have a closer relationship with the brain than any other sensory organ. They also have a close relationship to taking in and stacking memory. The memory is a most important thing in creating and maintaining “Who I am?” and “Why I am?”. We live by memory and habit. Generally, people live in nearly ninety percent habit in a day. This depends mostly on their unconscious brain activity and those habits also exists in a memory category. Memory, whether it be conscious or unconscious, has a very close relation with the eyes. The eyes move and react even though it is often very slight.
If you have interest in these ideas, thinking deeply at least once will help you. Then you will be able to see this world more deeply. But, I can't assure that will always be good for you.
