Hi! My name is Alley and I'll be explaining a book called, “The School Was Alive.” This story is about a group of friends that fight with the monster school. Yes, that's a school that has turned into a MONSTER! But don't worry, the main character Sam defeats the monster. Also, there are two more characters named Lucy and Antonio.

I like this book because it makes me feel scared, but in a fun way. It was also very amazing that the school was alive. At first Lucy and Antonio thought Sam was silly. There was no way the school could be alive, but he was right. They believed him when they saw the chair monster with their own eyes. This is when they started working together. This book teaches us about teamwork and trusting each other.

My favorite part was when Sam defeats the chair monster because it was very exciting and amazing. You're never going to believe what they used to win...a big jar of peanut butter!!!!!! The main characters kicked the jar into the chair monster's mouth. When the monster bit the peanut butter jar, it was so sticky he couldn't open his mouth again. Thanks to Sam's great idea, they beat the chair monster and saved their friends.
